Hello my dear friends,
I’m afraid I have grave news. Recent regulatory changes in China have resulted in the ban of hundreds of compounds our community has a keen interest in. Overnight these compounds are no longer available and will not be synthesized at any considerable scale anywhere in the world. Vendors that have them in stock will gradually go out of stock and then these compounds will cease to be available.
To provide some background, over the last 12 months China has been banning, regulating and enforcing existing regulations against substances deemed regulatory priorities. In the summer the CCP turned its red gaze to metabolic and cognitive enhancing substances and the production of some products began to halt
The USA has long lamented China’s laissez faire regulation of chemical products. This came to a head with the recent fentanyl and opioid crisis. The USA's trade representatives have been pressuring China to change its enforcement and regulatory practices. Enforcing regulations against hard drugs causing addiction, even death, like fentanyl is a good thing. But as we all know, there is a continuum and the line between Orwellian and reasonable is not clear for overzealous regulators. Among the recent casualties is caffeine isolate. Right now there are people in China going to jail for selling caffeine powder.
This has created fear, uncertainty and doubt. Unfortunately the outlook is not good...
